There are a number of external features: a side mesh pocket (great for items such as shower gel), a front zip pocket (ideal for your phone/membership card etc), a zipped shoe compartment.

The shoe compartment allows you to keep your shoes separate from the other contents of the bag so you do not need to worry if they are dirty.

The main compartment is accessed via a zipper, internally there is a zipped pocket ideal for your smaller items (keys, money etc).
